Interesting art found while shopping for staging…

Posted bySo earlier today, I was out shopping for art for an upcoming staging of a 2 bedroom apartment in Silver Spring. I visited one of the local consignment stores in Beltsville and stumbled upon this piece.
I thought it was an interesting piece and would LOVE to do a room centered around it but figured my current project/space didn’t have enough character to pull it off. For some reason, it says mid-century modern to me. Like it is calling to be hung on at least a 9ft tall wood paneled wall, with some classic mid-century furniture around it.
What do you think? Would you let the Matador come live in YOUR casa?
Comments please! Ole!

I like it. I’m in a green phase right now, so, this is perfect! Changing the frame may make it more versatile (perhaps, simple black).
