DC condo owners want light blocking blinds and shades!
May, 10, 2010
Posted byOver the past two months, we have been working with DC’s Ace Hardware stores, supplying in-home decorating consultations for blinds and shades. Condo owners in Logan Circle, Mount Vernon/Gallery Place, U Street, and Tenleytown have all expressed interest in those shades like the ones seen below:
The three longer shades on the bottom feature the top down/bottom up option – which allows the owners to open the shade from top AND the bottom of the window. This option is available on both the honeycomb shades AND the woven wood shades (matchstick blinds) in various sizes. The top down/bottom up option is quite handy for blocking the view from the street from first to 3rd floor units and filtering the sun for those with east or west facing windows.
If you have recently moved into a new condo in Logan Circle, U Street, Mount Vernon/Gallery Place or Tenleytown, or anywhere in DC and feel like you are living in a fishbowl or sauna (or both) contact us! We would be happy to bring samples and discuss options in your condo. Not only will it make your DC condo more bearable, but it will lower your heating and cooling bill almost immediately!
