Who’s to blame here?

Posted byI admit it – I am not searching for a million dollar home. To me, it seems outrageous to spend that amount of money on a home but that is because I am not making enough money to justify it- at least not yet! But even still – I got to think that a picture like would turn off a potential buyer? Am I crazy to think that?

I would LOVE to hear if you think this picture helps to sell the home. Am I being too picky about the personal products on the counter, used towels and half-lit lighting? You know, if you are spending a million dollars, you can’t expect it to be perfect, can you? In that case, why even go through the hassle of posting pictures? Just post up the address and price and let the magical buyer just waltz through your front door!

Ros, I agree with you and the other commenter..a little discretion with the WC. But the picture – for me – is off putting also because of the design and the angle of the pic. What’s with the shelf between the lights..forcing the lights to be off-center in what is a mostly symmetric design. And the color (is there color in there). Surely there is another solution for the towel bars… (highly opinionated but clear designer
I can’t get past the open lid on the toilet. That was the first thing my eye went to, which is NOT where you want ti to go!
