Here are answers to Frequently Asked Questions about edecorating and our service offerings.

What is included in a completed edecorating design plan?

An edecorating design plan will include recommended changes to the room, computer generated layout (where possible), suggested shopping/buying list and estimated materials budget. The plan is delivered on via a secured website so the eclient may use as a reference during their own implementation phase. Designs will remain active for 45 days after first delivery.

How will you capture my style and taste before creating the edesign?

Each service plan includes an on-line survey for the eClient to complete. This survey captures basic style preferences, family size, budget constraints and current room challenges. Additionally, our designers are required to conduct a telephone consultation with the eClient before design work officially begins.

I am in the middle of a home remodel - can you help?

Absolutely! This is a great time to help you with color selection, furniture layout and the like. We would be happy to review your layout and discuss various options with you - even including previous furniture if you so desire.

I am thinking about remodeling my kitchen/bath - can you help?

While we could help you develop a design plan/color palette for kitchen and bath, we can NOT advise on moving physical structures - like walls, HVAC or plumbing. These are items that must be discussed with an architect or local contractor on site, not someone virtually. However, once the structure is up, we would be happy to help!

I don't live in the Metro DC area, can you develop a shopping list for my design plan?

Absolutely! We try to stay abreast of nationwide deisgn resources and refer resources are available on the internet. We also have a small scouting team that keeps us abreast of home decorating resources within various cities. As our staff grows, we plan on expanding our reach into different metropolitian areas by hiring designers from all over the country, to help develop a great shopping list for every eclient!
